(Aug 2020 – May 2026) Teladoc Health            

Teladoc is a multinational telehealth company; I joined via the Livongo Health acquisition and worked fully remote. Primarily built the Livongo core app, with contributions to its companion watch app and the Teladoc main app (integrated as an SDK plugin).

• Laid the foundation for the Livongo app’s Jetpack Compose migration — codebase analysis, the adoption approach, and enablement of the internal Pulse Compose wrapper (0% crash rate); migrated ~30% of screens into the shared SDK, unblocking team-wide Compose use.

• Built a PHI-compliant remote-logging framework from scratch — a bridge between the Android and backend teams for richer production diagnostics without exposing patient data.

• Shipped reliably in a HIPAA-regulated environment — careful delivery under strict PHI safeguards and limited production access.

• Implemented WCAG accessibility fixes across the app, expanding usability for members with disabilities.

• Triaged security audit findings — separated false positives from actionable issues and drove cross-team remediation for deeper changes. – Introduced Detekt static analysis, cutting PR review chatter by ~40% so reviewers focused on logic and architecture.

• Won the 2023 company hackathon (Best Client Impact) for an AI food-logging prototype (camera + voice), predating the mainstream AI boom.

Parents Inc builds products for mothers and caretakers across South-East Asia. theAsianParent is their flagship app with 10M+ users globally and 5M+ on Android.

• Shipped new features for the Android app serving 5M+ users, including experimental features validated through A/B testing.

• Migrated significant portions of the codebase from Java to Kotlin, improving code safety and developer productivity.

• Built an Android Instant Apps proof-of-concept to reduce onboarding friction for new users. – Championed Continuous Deployment workflows that accelerated the app release cycle.

• Led end-to-end development of the STYFI e-commerce fashion app, migrating the legacy codebase to a modern, maintainable Kotlin architecture.

• Architected and built the Collabb influencer-marketing app from scratch using Kotlin, MVVM, and the Repository pattern.

Pretr built India’s first omnichannel e-commerce platform — acquired by Myntra.

• Built over a third of the features for Pretr Shop, India’s first omnichannel e-commerce app (later acquired by Myntra).

• Architected modular features using Clean Architecture with MVP for a scalable, testable codebase.

• Migrated the project to the Bazel build system, reducing build times.

• Built and grew the Android engineering team from scratch, including participating in hiring.

• Client work: fixed critical memory leaks and replaced polling with a service-based real-time price-fetching mechanism on Bullion India; rebuilt the Inorbit Mall visitor-experience app.
