India’s First 10 Core Processor Arrives With Intel Xeon Processor E7 Family

Promises better security, great performance, reliability and pulls down the energy consumption up to whopping 93 percent. It’s aptly meant for Mission Critical Computing. Scroll down for the performance benchmarks, price and specs.

The Intel Xeon Processor E7 Family is India’s first 10 core processor featuring 20 threads, 30MB L3 cache memory and supports 2 terabytes of DDR3 memory. It has been structured and optimized for the IT departments to manage data intensive workloads better with it’s new set of features. The new Xeon processors are based on Intel’s 32 nanometer process technology, and perform up to 40% better than the previous 7500 series processors.

Panasonic’s New Viera TV Models and ‘Connect’ Service Announced

Along with the launch of a new line of television models from Panasonic in India, a new service, Viera Connect is also available. The Viera Connect is an enhancement of the traditional “Open” IPTV on the Panasonic’s VIERA HDTV. Comes with social networking, fitness programs and video streaming apps. On the television, the users can browse websites, use Skype, Facebook and ofcourse, watch TV.

Additionally, the Neo plasma and IPS Alpha Panel now power the new Viera Tv models that enhance the image quality of Panasonic’s first LED/LCD 3D HDTV’s. This television series also promises fast motion refresh rates, Game mode, wide viewing angles all with reduced power consumption.

The Viera television series can be remote controlled with iPad/iPhone/ iPod touch by installing the official “Viera remote” app available at itunes.apple.com. This ofcourse, requires an active Wi-Fi connection inorder for the iPad/iPhone/ iPod touch to communicate with the television.
