Epson Launches Low Cost Per Page Inkjet Printers, For India

July 23, 2011 by Raj Agrawal Leave a Comment

The revolutionary printers from Epson are built with world’s first integrated ink tank system that guarantees a drastic improvement in cost efficiency per page prints which no printer could offer otherwise. Designed especially for India, the printers output 10 paise per page for mono prints, while 20 paise per page for colored ones.

Being an Indian resident and an avid printer user, I very well understand with how maintaining and managing printers can prove to be a costly affair. With the uncertainty of hardware, quality and high cost per prints, it becomes really expensive to deal with. I’m referring to the low – moderately priced printers that most home, office and stationary stores have been using. There are many other issues related with the conventional printers, but this is not what this post is about.

The newly introduced L100 and L200 printer models, powered by the Epson Micro Piezo promise detailed and seamless gradations on photographs prints.

  • The Selling Point

The printer pack comes with a set of a single black 70ml ink bottle capable of printing 4000 black pages and three 70ml color ink cartridges that can print 6500 color pages. The Inks stay fresh up to 2 years if the ink re-fill bottles aren’t opened, otherwise they last for 8 months. This means, the usual complains of printer inks drying won’t happen in these printers, at least up-to 8 months of usage. Also, the common ink leakage factor has been taken care of with embedding choke valves onto the printer mechanism.
